Sebi bars former Axis MF dealer Viresh Joshi from securities markets for 7 years front-running case
Sebi has banned Viresh Joshi and Prijesh Kurani from the securities market for seven years. This action stems from a front-running case involving Axis Mutual Fund trades. The regulator also ordered Rs 30.56 crore in impounded funds to be treated as disgorgement. Joshi allegedly shared non-public fund information with Kurani for illicit trading. The scheme involved multiple individuals and entities facilitating these wrongful gains.
